International VELUX Award 2010 for Students of Architecture

The award takes place every second year and is open to students of architecture worldwide.
Its aim is to celebrate and promote excellence in completed study works and to acknowledge students as well as their tutors; therefore the tutors of the projects are awarded alongside their students.

The overall award theme is "Light of Tomorrow". The award welcomes projects from individuals or groups of students, who are students during the study year 2009/10.
Submitted projects have to be prepared during the study year 2008/09 or 2009/10
There is no limit to the number of entries from each school.

The total prize sum is € 30,000, awarded to a number of prize winners and honourable mentions among the students and associated tutors. The prize winners and one team member from the honourable mentions and the special prizes will be invited to the award ceremony, which will be held in October 2010.

All winning projects will be exhibited at the award ceremony. All submitted projects will be displayed online at http://iva.velux.com after the award ceremony.

Deadline for registration: 1 March 2010.
Deadline for submitting projects: 3 May 2010.
