Volunteer

The benefits of volunteering can be life changing and even more so it's volunteer work abroad. As well as doing something worthwhile and fun, you can have a great time meeting new friends and experiencing new cultures.

The UK has many organisations that offer voluntary placements for gap year volunteers. Alternatively, you could consider temporary and/or seasonal work volunteering which is a great way to improve your English and your experience.
