European Solidarity Corps and volunteering

The study, requested by the European Parliament CULT committee, provides an in-depth assessment of the Commission’s legislative proposal for the establishment of the European Solidarity Corps. The European Solidarity Corps aim to enhance the engagement of young people and organisations in accessible and high quality solidarity activities that benefit communities and people around the EU. The Report focuses on the added value of the European Solidarity Corps, challenges linking EU programmes and the complementarity to paid employment.
