European Youth Week is about celebrating and promoting youth activities, and will take place 29 April - 5 May 2019. This year the theme is ‘Democracy and me’.
Events and activities will focus on the participation of young people in the decision-making process for policies that affect everyone. It is an ideal opportunity to reflect on active citizenship and get involved in your local communities: voluntary work, talking to policy-makers, or getting engaged in local activities.
European Youth Week takes place every two years all over Europe. Since 2003 it has given young people the chance to get involved in politics and local activities, to share their opinions, and to discover the learning opportunities available through international programmes.
Over the coming weeks on Eurodesk UK we will be publish details of how you can take part in European Youth Week, from organising or attending events, to social media.
