Medway Youth Trust is a youth charity that works across local government areas of Medway, Kent and East Sussex. Our long term goals are: young people are in learning, young people are well prepared for the future and young people and their families create their own change.

Our experience is finding, engaging and progressing marginalised young people 14-25 who are, or will be at risk of disengaging from learning, education or employment and the labour market generally. We deliver employability programmes which are a mixture of formal and non-formal approaches. We also provided 1-1 careers guidance and programmes in schools.

In addition we deliver the National Citizen Service, a national social action programme for 16-17 year olds and also an international social action programme. The target group are those that are unemployed, care leavers, special educational needs and disabilities and youth offending background. MYT is also an accredited centre to deliver the Duke of Edinburgh Award. MYT also have succeeded to gain Erasmus plus funding for an international social action projects and a youth participation seminar. This has lead to close links to students at a high school in Moldova.
