Future Europe Future You is an international conference for young people age 18-30 together with policy makers of any age. With the rise of populism, the decisions of today’s politicians in every country will have a greater impact on the lives and welfare of future generations than at any time in the last 25-30 years: young people will have to live with, and manage, the consequences. So it is more important than ever to give young people opportunities for discussion about the future of Europe, dialogue with policy-makers and building intercultural relations for the future.

The Stand Out in a Global Market event series inspires young people to kick start their careers by gaining experience abroad. Free one-day events are held around the country and are open to 16-18 year olds. The events demonstrate the range of opportunities available, from vocational courses to studying or volunteering abroad.

Invitations to take part are being sent to thousands of young people, youth workers and project staff all over Europe. So, if you participated in an Erasmus+ youth mobility project during 2017 keep a watch in your email inbox for an invitation.

There is a wide range of opportunities under Erasmus+ for youth organisations and groups working with young people. The next deadline to apply for funding is 26 April at 11.00am (UK time), make sure you fulfill the requirements before you apply. The Erasmus+ UK National Agency is supporting applicants through recording webinars, one-to-one phone sessions and guidance notes.

EuroApprentices is a European Network of Erasmus+ funded apprentices selected by National Agencies for Key Action 1 Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom. There is an open call for UK beneficiary organisations to apply and enable a participant from their project to become one of the first UK EuroApprentices: to share their individual success stories of learning mobility abroad, meet with other apprentices from across Europe and strengthen their identity as a European Network of peers.

The European Commission has launched Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange, described as the online version of Erasmus+. With a focus on inclusion and intercultural learning, Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange aims to reach young people from different social backgrounds and provide an accessible way for them to improve their skills.

We are pleased to welcome the new team at Eurodesk UK. Eva de Luis joins as Eurodesk officer, with Katarzyna (Kaśka) Nowacka in the new role of Eurodesk assistant. Both Eva and Kaśka developed their respective passions for international adventure as participants in Erasmus+ funded projects. They each bring a wealth of experience from living and working in many different countries, in Europe and beyond, in the fields of education and youth.
