The European Commission has launched Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange, described as the online version of Erasmus+. With a focus on inclusion and intercultural learning, Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange aims to reach young people from different social backgrounds and provide an accessible way for them to improve their skills.

We are pleased to welcome the new team at Eurodesk UK. Eva de Luis joins as Eurodesk officer, with Katarzyna (Kaśka) Nowacka in the new role of Eurodesk assistant. Both Eva and Kaśka developed their respective passions for international adventure as participants in Erasmus+ funded projects. They each bring a wealth of experience from living and working in many different countries, in Europe and beyond, in the fields of education and youth.

The European Youth Forum is looking for a team of seven volunteers passionate for youth engagement in politics, to support the running of the Yo!Fest @ the EYE2018, a two-day youth, political festival that takes place outside the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France on 1-2 June.

In a Resolution adopted on 25th October by the Budget Committee, MEPs set overall EU budget for 2018 at €162.6 billion (+1.2% on the Commission’s draft budget) for commitments and €146.7 billion (+0.9%) for payments.

From 24th to 26th October 260 young people, experts and policy makers from all over Europe gathered in Tallinn, Estonia, to discuss youth policy and explore what young people expect from the EU to allow them to live prosperous, sustainable and successful lives. The aim of the conference was to provide insight and input to consultations on the new EU Youth Strategy.
