The Eurodesk Annual Overview is released every year to give a glimpse on youth work best practices from all over Europe. The booklet collects Eurodesk projects from local, regional, national and European level.

For the second consecutive year, in collaboration with Euroguidance UK, the Stand Out in a Global Market event series are back in autumn. The free one-day events are open to all young people aged 16-18 and are being held in Birmingham and Leeds.

The Stand Out in a Global Market event series inspires young people to kick start their careers by gaining experience abroad. Free one-day events are held around the country and are open to 16-18 year olds. The events demonstrate the range of opportunities available, from vocational courses to studying or volunteering abroad.

Time to Move is the flagship campaign of the Eurodesk network. Last year, more than 200,000 young people got to know about international studying, volunteering and traineeship opportunities through 822 events. This will be the fifth edition and we are expecting to reach 1000 online and offline events for young people organised in October across 35 countries.

In May 2018 the European Commission published its proposal for the 2021-2027 successor scheme to Erasmus+, revealing plans to more than double the available funding to €30 billion.

For the next long-term EU budget 2021-2027, the European Commission has proposed a new programme for the European Solidarity Corps beyond 2020, with €1.26 billion to broaden the opportunities it offers. The new programme will allow at least 350,000 young Europeans to support communities in need between 2021 and 2027 through volunteering, traineeships and job placements.

On 1 and 2 June 2018, over 8,000 young people gathered in Strasbourg, France, to share ideas and debate at the Parliament’s third European Youth Event. The Eurodesk network was present with a delegation of 45 participants (national partners, multipliers and young people) coming from 10 different countries: France, Spain, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Ireland, United Kingdom, Turkey, Sweden and Iceland. Eurodesk proposed 2 activities to the participants of the EYE18: "The Human Library of mobility opportunities" and "Youth values”.

LIYSF is a two week residential event with lectures and demonstrations from leading scientists, visits to industrial sites, research centres, scientific institutions and organisations, including world class laboratories and universities. The week aims to broadening scientific understanding, to engage students in education on other cultures and to develop lasting, international friendships. World's leading young scientists aged 16-21 years old from more than 75 participating countries are invited to apply.
