The Eurodesk Annual Overview is released every year to give a glimpse on youth work best practices from all over Europe. The booklet collects Eurodesk projects from local, regional, national and European level.

For the second consecutive year, in collaboration with Euroguidance UK, the Stand Out in a Global Market event series are back in autumn. The free one-day events are open to all young people aged 16-18 and are being held in Birmingham and Leeds.

In May 2018 the European Commission published its proposal for the 2021-2027 successor scheme to Erasmus+, revealing plans to more than double the available funding to €30 billion.

For the next long-term EU budget 2021-2027, the European Commission has proposed a new programme for the European Solidarity Corps beyond 2020, with €1.26 billion to broaden the opportunities it offers. The new programme will allow at least 350,000 young Europeans to support communities in need between 2021 and 2027 through volunteering, traineeships and job placements.

On 1 and 2 June 2018, over 8,000 young people gathered in Strasbourg, France, to share ideas and debate at the Parliament’s third European Youth Event. The Eurodesk network was present with a delegation of 45 participants (national partners, multipliers and young people) coming from 10 different countries: France, Spain, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Ireland, United Kingdom, Turkey, Sweden and Iceland. Eurodesk proposed 2 activities to the participants of the EYE18: "The Human Library of mobility opportunities" and "Youth values”.
