The Eurodesk Awards celebrate the youth workers who help young people discover and benefit from international opportunities. Organisations who work as Eurodesk multipliers are eligible.
Now in its eighth year, in 2019 the initiative received 44 project entries from 17 countries in the three main categories, with winners chosen by a panel of judges. An additional category, the Eurodesk Network Prize, was decided by the Eurodesk network.
The award categories focus on:
- Mobility awareness activities/projects aimed at promoting mobility and its benefits to European young people.
- Active citizenship activities/projects organised for raising awareness on the importance of active citizenship within Europe and the European Union.
- Solidarity actions/projects carried out to help young people with fewer opportunities, including NEETs, young refugees, in accessing youth opportunities and learning about their rights.
This year’s four winners received their prizes at the Eurodesk Multipliers’ seminar on 7 June 2019 in Brussels, attended by representatives from EU institutions and youth organisations:

The UK had a record five entries: British Youth Council, IARS International Institute, Yipworld, Youth Focus NW, and Bryson Charitable Group who received an honourable mention for their ‘Postcards from the Edge of Europe’ project in the active citizenship category.
