There are training opportunities for you to learn and develop, funding opportunities that can benefit your projects or competitions to get your creativity going. We look for opportunities that could benefit the UK youth sector and allow you to browse or search available options. Eurodesk UK does not generally organise these events or funds, however each opportunity will direct you to the relevant website to find more information, and details on how to apply or register.

“East or West – Outdoors is the Best” is a youth exchange project organised by Abroadship.org, aimed to promote healthy behaviours, in particular through promotion of sports and outdoor activities as a mean to reach a healthy lifestyle. Applications for July 2018 session in Scotland now open!

Spend 3 days with a group of ex-EVS and other motivated young people. Share your European story, develop your leadership skills, and have some fun. You will get immediate opportunities to put learning into practice and organise your own EuroPeers activities after the course, and to volunteer for leadership positions which will be a great addition to your CV.

UK-German Connection is a bilateral government initiative for school and youth links. It was established in 2005 and is funded and governed by the UK and German governments, British Council and the Pädagogischer Austauschdienst.

UK-German Connection activities are open to the primary, secondary and FE sectors and focus on cross-curricular, thematic involvement.

Established by the Council of Europe, the European Youth Foundation supports activities, research, materials and documentation in line with Council of Europe values and work.  Generally the activities must take place in one or more of the EYF’s member states.
